Past Student Feedback

  • Professor Pieratt began the course with the introduction week discussion unlike other IMC courses I have taken thus far (in my opinion). I thought that the questions posed allowed him to understand each of our learning styles so that he was able to customize his method of communication and overall interactions with the students. I think that it must be a true challenge to get to know students via online courses, and the longer the course went on, I thought that Professor Pieratt knew me, my style, and my strengths/weaknesses very well. I also felt that he has gone above and beyond in assisting my interests in updating my resume and exploring job opportunities within the IMC field. I greatly appreciated his efforts in this course. I believe that I will have taken a lot with me after this course ends.
  • I had a great experience with Prof. Pieratt. He provided detailed feedback that really helped me improve and pushed me to take my work to the next level, which I really appreciated. He also shared additional articles and real life examples from his own work that related to the weekly lessons and assignments. It was really helpful to see these and definitely added to the quality of the course. I would love to take another course with Prof. Pieratt and hope that I get the opportunity.
  • This has been my favorite class in the IMC program thus far. Professor Pieratt is an awesome teacher and he is super knowledgeable of the IMC field. I actually wish I could have him again for a class. He taught us things that are valuable in the workforce.
