Brand Advocate

There are so many ways for you to support and contribute to the Integrated Marketing Communications and Data Marketing Communications programs, and spreading the word about the college is an important one. We would like you to take that one step further. If you know of a talented professional or current college student (or several!) with the potential to succeed in the IMC or Data programs at WVU, we invite you to support that individual and recommend them for the programs by completing the form below.

What are we looking for?

The IMC and Data programs at WVU Reed College of Media attract a variety of applicants, from seasoned professionals to those just starting their career in the marketing communications field. While our programs are entirely online, the total number of available seats for each entry term is limited to keep class sizes small and enable one-on-one interaction between students and instructors. Admission to the IMC and Data programs is competitive and depends on a variety of factors, including:

  • Undergraduate academic performance
  • Years of relevant experience
  • References
  • Personal statement

Who can refer a student?

We welcome referrals from:

  • WVU alumni
  • WVU faculty and staff
  • Current WVU students
  • Friends of the college

To become an official IMC/Data Advocate, please complete the following form. Our enrollment specialist will connect with your referral and send them a viewbook. As a thank you for your referral, please give us your name and mailing address so we can send you an IMC/DMC t-shirt!
