Allyson Kennedy

Allyson Kennedy is the communications manager for the WVU Reed College of Media. She is responsible for implementing and managing the integrated marketing communications (IMC) plan for the College.

Kennedy works to enhance awareness and recognition of all the College’s undergraduate and graduate programs, both online and on campus. She utilizes social media, stories and press releases, and various print and digital materials to spread awareness about the programs. 

Prior to joining the Reed College of Media, she worked at Washington & Jefferson College, where she served as the alumni magazine editor and the communications coordinator. She holds a Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications from Duquesne University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Washington & Jefferson College. 

During her free time, Kennedy enjoys reading, gardening and spending time with her husband, Ryan, and cat, Poe.
