Dr. Adrienne King joined The University of Toledo as associate vice president of marketing and communications in January 2019 and was promoted to Vice President for University Marketing and Communications in 2021.

The brand includes bold and confident images, typography and messaging that showcase the University’s positive momentum. Designed around seven core attributes –– focused, determined, inquisitive, supportive, innovative, community-minded and impactful –– the brand shows how The University of Toledo is powering possibility and fueling tomorrows. In addition to the new brand, the University developed a new mobile-first website, one of the first among UToledo’s peer institutions.
