Neelesh Varde

Global Product Manager at Roquette

Dr. Neelesh Varde is a Global Product Manager at Roquette and an adjunct instructor for both the WVU IMC and Data Marketing Communications programs. He is the developer and current instructor of the IMC Global Brand Communication Course and the DMC Data Visualization course.

In his current position at Roquette, Dr. Varde is involved in strategy and product management for global brands, using and developing data visualization tools for pricing and sales management.

Previously while at the University of Michigan, Dr. Varde worked in developing the infrastructure for one of the first distance learning classes offered in the School of Engineering, Chemical Reaction Engineering (ChE 344). His background includes a B.S. from the University of Michigan (summa cum laude) and an M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business (with Honors) with concentrations in Marketing Management, Econometrics & Statistics, and Finance. He also serves on the scientific advisory board for The Good Food Institute.

Neel has been super engaging in his class. His replies to my posts are thought provoking and, at times, funny! This makes for a very conducive learning environment. I look forward to all of his remarks.

Prof. Varde was absolutely the best teacher in the entire program and arguably my entire academic career! He was extremely helpful, approachable and respectful the entire class.

Dr. Varde was always extremely helpful when answering my questions. As some of the material was extremely difficult for me, Dr. Varde always made sure that I understood the material and provided insight on how to better complete my assignments.
