Jason Sargus

Jason Sargus has nearly two decades of business ownership, entrepreneurship and professional combat sport coaching and management experience. As the founder of the Brazen Sports Agency and Brazen Boxing & MMA, Sargus has helped guide the careers of elite level professional athletes in boxing and mixed martial arts. Some current and former notable athletes under his guidance include Paul Felder (UFC), Matt Frevola (UFC), Eddie Gordon (UFC), Gabriel Rosado (boxing World Title Contender) and Jason Sosa (Super Feather Weight World Champion boxer).

Sargus holds a Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications and a Bachelor of Arts in English, both from West Virginia University. He is currently an MBA candidate at West Virginia University and a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Societies.

As a business consultant for the tech startup, Jellysmack, Sargus was an essential component in the buildout of the company’s combat sports vertical during key funding rounds that saw the company reach unicorn status (billion-dollar valuation).

Sargus has identified and evaluated high potential digital partner targets through execution of market research into combat sports entertainment trends and media consumption demands.

He continues to work and collaborate with Jellysmack’s head of Strategic Partnerships & West Coast Operations, as well as additional business development and legal teams, to create additional sports verticals for Jellysmack’s omni-platform social media publication and revenue growth operations.

Sargus is also chief analyst and contributor to The Southpaw Podcast—Fight Study.
