ALEXIA VANIDES ONLINE TEACHING AWARD

Our people make our programs. While the online marketing communications master's degrees are completely online, the connections you'll make with fellow students and faculty will have a meaningful impact on both your education and your future.

 Alexia Vanides Online Teaching Award

Our people make our programs. While the online marketing communications master's degrees are completely online, the connections you'll make with fellow students and faculty will have a meaningful impact on both your education and your future.

To that end, the Reed School of Media and Communications developed an online teaching award to allow students to nominate instructors who have positively impacted their online educational experience. Recipients are highly effective and inspiring educators and mentors in the marketing communications master's degree programs.

The first online teaching award recognized Alexia Vanides in 2009. Alexia was an inspiration to many IMC students and instructors. She was committed to excellence in her classrooms and passionate about supporting her students and colleagues. When Alexia passed away in 2011, the award was renamed to honor her legacy.

The Alexia Vanides Online Teaching Award is based solely on student nominations in each of the marketing communications master's degree programs. Recipients are recognized during the annual Integrate Conference.
