In addition to serving as an online adjunct instructor teaching Web Metrics and Search Engine Optimization in the Digital Marketing Communications Program, JoAnn Burnett is a Business Instructor at WVU Keyser.

Real-world, hands-on experience back Burnett in her efforts to teach students in the field of marketing and digital communications. She offers valuable, concrete perspectives as students learn to apply skills and knowledge to situations they are likely to encounter.

A full-time Business Instructor at WVU Potomac State College in Keyser, WV, Burnett teaches marketing, communications and business technology classes to undergraduate students.

Burnett has also been an entrepreneur for 30+ years. Past business enterprises include web development agencies, e-commerce businesses, retail stores and freelance consulting. An early corporate career at Prodigy Interactive Services, PepsiCo International and Union Carbide Corporation rounds out her professional experience and skills.

Burnett holds a Regents Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Science degree in Integrated Marketing Communications, both from West Virginia University.
