Joe Gura

With over 15 years of experience in technology marketing, and another decade working in broadcast news and sports, Joe Gura brings a unique lens to marketing, business, and storytelling to his work as an adjunct instructor at WVU.

In the marketing profession today, Gura is the director of Global Partner Enablement and Customer Events at Microsoft, where, along with a team of highly talented marketing pros, he works to empower thousands of commercial partners to effectively market and sell Microsoft products, while also driving engaging events with those partners that showcase the value of Windows 11 to customers worldwide.

A 2015 graduate of the WVU Integrated Marketing Communications program, and instructor since 2019, Gura has remained connected to the community, speaking at the 2014 and 2018 Integrate conferences, and championing the West Virginia Regional Technology Parks Initiative with business and elected leaders.
