Kellie Reinert

Growth Marketing Lead and Lifecycle Strategist

Kellie Reinert joins WVU with twelve years of professional experience specializing in buyer behavior, content management and lifecycle marketing strategies. She is currently the growth marketing lead at Totango, a customer success SaaS platform. Reinert oversees revenue-funnel initiatives in this role, including marketing automation and lead nurturing, audience segmentation and data analysis.

Reinert has dedicated seven years to EdTech and previously served as marketing director at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt (HMH), including roles in product marketing and campaign strategy. Before HMH, Reinert successfully launched higher education online degree programs as a marketing manager at Pearson Online Learning Services. Her experience in EdTech spans strategic campaign planning, product launches, customer journey mapping, persona development, and brand initiatives. 

Reinert is a 2019 graduate of West Virginia University’s Online Hybrid MBA program with an area of emphasis in IMC from the Reed College of Media. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Florida in 2009. A lifelong learner passionate about supporting students on their learning journey, Reinert is thrilled to join the faculty at WVU as an adjunct instructor. 

She currently resides in Orlando, Florida, with her husband and two german shepherd dogs. In her spare time, she loves to travel while capturing her adventures on video. Reinert spends her weekends frequenting nearby theme parks, cycling and finding peace in reading and writing.
