Olesya Govorun
Olesya Govorun is a senior marketing executive with a passion for teaching and people development. She holds a PhD in Social Psychology from Ohio State University and an Executive MBA from Purdue University.
Govorun started her career in market research, first as a market research consultant at Burke and Kantar, and then as a business leader leveraging research to shape strategy at Danone and Pfizer. Mid-career Govorun transitioned into marketing and held several transformational roles. She led customer experience marketing at Pfizer CentreOne, a contract manufacturing part of Pfizer, and was the global patient experience marketing lead at Pfizer, helping the organization advance innovative ways of connecting with patients. Currently, she is part of the Global Chief Marketing Office at Pfizer, helping build advanced capabilities and skills for Pfizer marketers across the organization.
In addition to delivering strong business results, she prides herself on her commitment to developing talent. She is a proponent of workplace belonging, diversity and inclusion, and equitable growth opportunities. She is a team leader, a mentor, and a peer coach. Govorun has received numerous awards at Pfizer, including 100 Most Inspiring Women Award.
A native of Ukraine, she is actively involved with the Ukrainian community in the US and is helping advocate for continuous support for Ukraine. Govorun lives in New York with her husband and two teenage boys.
