Award-Winning Public Relations and Communications Leader

Kaden Jacobs, APR is an award-winning public relations and communications leader with experience in business, non-profit, healthcare, and K-12 education. He has previously served in leadership at a hospital with the country’s largest burn center, a 34,000 student K-12 school system, and a metropolitan chamber of commerce. Before his career in public relations, he served as a Cryptologic Technician in the United States Navy.

During his career, he has navigated issues involving special purpose local option sales taxes, school shooting incidents, district rezoning, and the COVID-19 pandemic. Jacobs successfully communicated the organization’s message and engaged key stakeholders to achieve results.

He is the current board chair of RISE Augusta, a non-profit providing literacy support, wraparound services, and job training to impoverished K-12 students. He also serves as the Chair for the HUB Collaborative Partner Advisory Committee, is a member of the Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce’s Business Education Advisory Committee and Red Carpet Showcase Committee, an Advisor for the Youth Leadership Augusta program, and a member of the Augusta Arsenal Soccer Club board.

Jacobs is a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) where he was named a “40 Under 40” honoree by the PRSA Georgia chapter in 2020. He is a previous member of the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA) and Georgia School Public Relations Association (GSPRA), where he was awarded the Marie Wofford Professional Growth Award in 2019. A native of Louisville, Kentucky, he was named a “Kentucky Colonel” in 2019; the highest title of honor bestowed by the Commonwealth of Kentucky. He was named a “Top 10 in 10 Young Professional to Watch” by Augusta Magazine in 2015 and one of Georgia Trend’s “40 Under 40” honorees in 2017. He is a graduate of Leadership Augusta, Leadership Columbia County, GeorgiaForward’s Young Gamechangers, and the Harvard Institute for Superintendents and District Leaders.

He graduated from the University of Louisville with a Bachelor of Arts in communication and holds a Master of Science in communications & public relations from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. He also holds an Accreditation in Public Relations from PRSA.

He currently lives in Augusta, GA where he spends his free time on the golf course and with his fiancée and elementary school-aged son.
