Dr. Nancy Engelhardt, professor of Marketing for Marymount University, has taught
sustainable marketing, advertising, consumer behavior, public relations, social
marketing, nonprofit marketing, and the foundations of marketing course at both
the undergraduate and graduate level.
Originally from New Orleans, her career in advertising and public relations has spanned over 15 years and has included corporate, nonprofit and government agencies. She has held communications positions with the World Wildlife Fund and the Smithsonian Institution. Dr. Engelhardt’s research interests include environmental labeling, cause-related and social marketing, and “green” advertising. She has presented research in the United States as well as in countries such as Russia, Africa, Austria and Switzerland.
Dr. Engelhardt holds a Ph.D. from The University of Southern Mississippi in Mass Communication and a Master’s of Journalism from Louisiana State University.
