Chatbot technology in B2B is developing quickly beyond customer experience to becoming an important part of Top of Funnel (TOF) tactics. Join Koen de Witte, Managing Director at Leadfabric, and Drift's exclusive certified partner in Europe, to hear his insights around next-generation Chatbots in the sub-series, Marketing Horizons hosted by Ruth Stevens and Cyndi Greenglass.
- We have to make a distinction between B2B and B2C applications, or complex versus one step selling, for this chatbot technology. They appear to be more suitable to the complex purchase decision environment.
- Micro conversions move a prospect along step by step and the chatbot is perfectly suited to help with that.
- Setting expectations is really important. While we’re trying to imitate human-like communication, the reality is it's not a human interaction. If we don't set the expectation appropriately, the customer experience will be negatively impacted.
