Building a Career in Marketing: Insights from WVU IMC Graduate Asia Allen

|

Asia Allen

Asia Allen decided to pursue WVU’s Integrated Marketing Communications master’s degree to broaden her knowledge across various industries and create more opportunities to grow in her current role.

My favorite course is digital video production. It gave me complete creative freedom to design a project, capture targeted footage, and apply multiple edits to craft a compelling story tailored to a specific audience. Asia Allen

One thing Allen focused on was making sure to plan out her weekly or bi-weekly schedule. While things might not always go as planned, having a schedule helps you manage your time and focus, reducing the risk of burnout," Allen advised. "It also ensures you have time for the activities you love and the people who matter most."

Allen, a Fall 2024 graduate of the Integrated Marketing Communications master’s degree program, is currently the Marketing Manager at Paycom Center for ASM Global. She is from Lawton, OK.
